The 2016, edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), which was hosted by seasoned media personality IK Osakioduwa and Minnie Dlamini, also had lovely stage performance from popular Nigerian music artist Flavour N’abania and Johnny crooner, Yemi Alade and had comedy performance by ace comedian Senator (Nigeria), Mc Bash (Nigeria) and Salvador from Uganda.
Below are lists of Nollywood celebrities who did not make it to the best dressed category at the AMVCA because they went too far in trying to impress their fans or failed to make a fashion statement includes:
. INI EDO:

Ini Edo
The Nollywood actress cum politician Ini Edo, has been under fire from fans for stepping out in a not-perfect dress for the occasion. Ini Edo was dressed in a cream low back stoned flowing dress with an additional dress as if she was attending her own wedding. This outfit did not go down well with her fans.
2. UCHE JOMBO:

Uche Jombo
Words could not simply explain the black outfit of the award-winning Nollywood filmmaker, Uche Jombo. She was dressed in what seemed to be a Jalabia as if she was going out to church or attending a Friday event, as described by her fans. It was obvious she went there to catch her fun npt to make a fashion statement.

3. GENEVIEVE NNAJI:

Genevieve Nnaji
The award winning actress Genevieve Nnaji, whose movie Road To Yesterday clinched two awards at the just concluded AMVCA 2016, Genevieve Nnaji in a bid to look very simple disappointed her fans by stepping out in gold sequin long dress. Majority of her fans were expecting her to slay the red carpet by making a fashion statement but unfortunately, the reverse was the case.
4. YVONNE JEGEDE:

Yvonne Jegede
Not knowing if she was dressed for her birthday party of for Nigeria’s biggest award ceremony AMVCA, fast rising Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede could not make it to the list of the best dressed Nollywood stars at the event. Yvonne who was dressed in a black and ash monostrap slitted gown and cream shoe got it all wrong for the red carpet moments.
5. DAYO AMUSA:

Dayo Amusa
Her dressing confirmed to a whole of people that the Yoruba movie industry is suffering a great loss as long as their dress sense is concerned. Famous Yoruba actress cum music artist Dayo Amusa was highly wooed by fans for stepping out in a ‘gold and black fringe’ gown was obvious looking sad at the event. Dayo did not even try to complement her looks by not putting on the appropriate earrings or neck-lace with her dress, she also got her posture wrong.
6. IBINABO FIBERESIMA:

Ibinabo Fiberesima
The famous Nollywood actress and Actor’s Guild of Nigeria’s President Ibinabo Fiberesima, came out looking like a peacock at the AMVCA 2016, edition. Ibinabo who in trying to look unique was dressed in a short Ankara dress and peacock tail outfit and had her hair packed all up with blue plated attachment, did not do justice to the red carpet.

7. HALIMA ABUBAKAR:

Halima Abubakar
Actress and philanthropist Halima Abubakar came out looking as if she was going for a sort of casual event where she would not be caught by the Fashion police. Halima did not take a note of her shape before picking out her dress or did not put into the consideration the kind of event she was attending. The curvy actress was dressed in a lace red and gold dress and a gold purse.
8. EBUBE NWAGBO:

Ebube Nwagbo
One time Nollywood fashionista looks like she has taken a break. Ebube Nwagbo never fails to make a statement on the red carpets but she got it all wrong this time. The CEO Posh hair, was seen stepping at AMVCA in white shirt and an high-waist Ankara skirt which is so not suitable for a red carpet event.
9. CHIKA IKE:

Chika Ike
Chika Ike who just shared pictures of her newly completed apartment in Lekki, Lagos, disappointed her fans on the red carpet. Aside coming late to the event, Chika Ike was dressed in a long-black thigh slitted gown and with gold falling details on the neck of her outfit. The dress was a bit confusing but she could not make the category of the best dressed celebs of the night.
10. AYO ADESANYA:

Ayo Adesanya
One of Nollywood’s busty actresses Ayo Adesanya, was not looking so bad but her fans were expecting to see her in a body fitting dress because of her shape. The Nollywood actress stepped out in a wine flowing gown at the AMVCA 2016 edition.
