See What Lecturers did to Student who Who Exposed Korede Bello’s Absence In Classes (Photos)

Nigerian singer, Korede Bello, frequent absence from his
school has allegedly caused the failure of one of his
schoolmates.
The lecturers in Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ) in
Ogba, Lagos even threatened that they would resign if
the singer took semester exams.
The 18-year-old singer, however, later apologised during
a meeting with the school’s management.
Reports have however surfaced that the student who
exposed Korede’s absence from school has been failed
by the institute for incriminating the Mavin singer.
According to BlackBox Nigeria, the student, Damilare
Famuyiwa, was reportedly failed by the school’s
management for exposing Korede Bello’s absence from
school and possible missing out of the recently held
examinations of the institute in accordance with the
school’s 70% class attendance rule. It was alleged
that Damilare was marked down and handed carry-overs
in two courses while he also got low marks in others.
Damilare was also allegedly threatened earlier by the
management to face a hard time in passing out of the
school. His classmates claim that the alleged results of
the alleged victimised student came as a shock as he
was one of the most brilliant in his class. They pointed
out that Korede who rarely attended lectures or
participated in the Continous Assessment, passed all his
courses in flying colours, presumably as a result of
manipulation of the system.
Damilare’s story has caused ‘Nigerian Young Journalists
Forum‘ and ‘Journalists For Christ, JFC’ to fight the
matter while he calls for his scripts and challenge the
results as allowed by regulations guiding the school.
